Instructions

  1. Prepare the Taco Meat: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning packet over the browned beef. Pour in the 1/2 cup of water. Stir well.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Prepare the Pizza Dough: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet or pizza pan.

  10. Sprinkle both the cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the taco meat.
  11. Add any optional toppings that need to be cooked (e.g., jalapenos).
  12. Bake the Taco Pizza: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  13. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool slightly.
